Ebet's next-generation gaming platform has officially launched. Here's what changed, and why it matters.

Two years ago, the Ebet leadership team asked itself a simple question: If we were building Ebet from a blank page today, knowing what we now know about members, venues, regulators and technology, what would we build?
The answer became Evolve.
And now, after two years of development and platform rebuilds, Evolve is officially live.
This isn’t a new skin on an old system. It isn’t a facelift or a retrofit on legacy architecture. Evolve has been built from the ground up as a modern gaming platform designed for the next generation of venue operations, member engagement and connected data.
Our first live installation launched at Drummoyne Sailing Club on 25 March 2026, with structured field trials and validation now underway in real venue environments.
Joe Ruzicska, General Manager at Drummoyne Sailing Club said "DSC was keen to participate as a trial venue for Evolve as our existing system was already a generation behind emerging technology, making this a great opportunity to help future proof the club.
The timing was ideal, aligning with our gaming room renovation and broader technology upgrades. The implementation was outstanding, with the Ebet team ensuring a seamless transition and no disruption to trade.
As expected with any trial, there were some teething issues, but Ebet was exceptional in responding to feedback and resolving them quickly. The biggest challenge has been educating staff and members as they adapt to a new way of interacting with club services.
Overall, the platform has been well received, and we are excited to continue contributing to its development and seeing what new features are introduced in the future."
At its core, Evolve has been designed around the way members already interact with the world around them - simple, fast and contactless.
Evolve has been built as an NFC-first platform, allowing members to tap using either an EMV-grade NFC membership card or a digital wallet pass through their digital wallet. No app download. No forced migration. Card or phone, both work from day one.
That shift solves many of the frustrations venues have dealt with for years: failed swipes, demagnetised cards, re-issuance costs and growing sign-in queues on busy nights. The things that quietly used to fail, simply start working again.
At the machine, Evolve delivers a connected, modern experience built around real-time interaction. Members tap in instantly and engage through a smartphone-style touchscreen interface designed to feel familiar from the first touch.
Behind the interface sits a much deeper platform shift.

Evolve has been designed as a connected data environment, with real-time operational, loyalty and compliance data flowing directly back to the venue. Stronger reporting and compliance capabilities are built into the platform core, while biometric-ready hardware positions venues for the regulatory and identity conversations already emerging across the industry.
Venue branding and promotions can also be delivered directly at the machine, creating new opportunities for personalised engagement and loyalty communication at the point of play.
Perhaps the biggest shift is that Evolve is not just a product. It’s a platform.
For the first time, the player interface is open to third-party applications, allowing best-of-breed partners to integrate directly into the member experience.
Ebet’s first integration is with ClevaQ, enabling members to order food and beverages directly from the machine, with member pricing, loyalty balances and pay-by-points functionality connected in real time. The integration also introduces “Follow Me” functionality, allowing staff to track member movement between ordering and delivery, helping create a more seamless service experience across the floor.

When systems are properly integrated, not just bolted together, venues gain a singular connected ecosystem across gaming, loyalty, food and beverage, compliance and operations. Data becomes live, visible and actionable across the entire venue, rather than trapped inside disconnected systems and static reports.
That’s what Evolve has been built for. Not just where the industry is today, but where it’s heading next.
And this is only the beginning. Evolve is a platform designed to keep evolving, with Australian venues and operators at the centre of every decision we make.
