Ebet’s Evolve platform approved to commence installation in live venues

Ebet has received approval for its next generation platform, Evolve, to be installed into live venue environments in NSW, marking a major milestone following extensive testing and regulatory assessment.

Evolve will now be deployed on the gaming floor, with initial installations commencing from 25 March 2026. While early deployments form part of a structured field trial and validation phase, the focus is on production readiness and future broader rollout.

At the centre of the platform is a dynamic NFC-enabled interface that removes friction from the player experience, making it faster and easier for customers to connect and engage. Customers simply tap to connect — using a physical card or their Apple or Google wallet — with no apps required.

The interface also moves away from the monotone, functional design of traditional player interfaces, introducing a more modern, engaging experience aligned with today’s gaming rooms and machines.

Evolve introduces enhanced capability across venue systems:

  • Real-time, connected data across gaming and venue systems
  • Stronger compliance and reporting capability aligned to evolving requirements
  • A foundation for future cashless functionality
  • More effective, data-driven customer engagement

The platform is designed to evolve with the industry as digital payments, compliance and customer expectations continue to shift.

Ebet CEO and Managing Director Frank Makryllos said the approval and installation into live venues is a key milestone.

“This is where Evolve moves into real venue environments,” he said.

“It’s a platform designed to connect systems, simplify the customer experience and support venues as the industry evolves.”

Initial installations will focus on validating performance in production environments alongside regulator-related testing requirements, with rollout expected to accelerate as venues move to modernise their gaming and customer platforms.

Ebet is working with venue partners to plan deployment schedules, with strong early interest as venues move toward more connected, contactless and data-driven systems.
